Seven types of foods that patients with colorectal cancer should avoid.

Seven types of foods to avoid:

1. High-sugar foods:

2. Fried food:
Fried food

High-fat foods can exacerbate the symptoms of colorectal cancer and may cause gastroesophageal reflux. Especially when you are undergoing chemotherapy, avoid eating high-fat foods.

3. Carbonated drinks:

Carbonated beverages can also worsen the symptoms of patients with colorectal cancer, causing flatulence and nausea. Carbonated beverages also usually contain high sugar content.

4. Foods high in saturated fat:

Fatty Meats
Avoid eating foods such as cheese, Fatty Meats, fast food, etc. that contain high saturated fat

5. Alcohol:
Alcohol

Studies have found that alcohol and cancer have a certain degree of association. And drinking alcohol may cause gastroesophageal reflux and heartburn. Please avoid drinking alcohol.

6. Caffeine:

Caffeine can cause diarrhea and nausea. It can also irritate the stomach, causing gastroesophageal reflux and heartburn.

7. Manufactured food

The World Health Organization has confirmed that processed meat is a first-level carcinogen. And it will increase the risk of colorectal cancer. Patients with colorectal cancer should avoid eating processed foods, and their daily diet should be based on natural fresh foods.
